Welcome Bags 2008

    This July will be the 11th year for this exciting learning event called the Enchanted Doll Artists Conference.  The first year was a small retreat with 10 doll makers present while this year's many attendees will range from beginners to internationally known professional doll artists with classes for three days.  Each year we have greeted our attendees at registration with a welcome bag full of samples, doll patterns, sewing supplies, flyers, stuffing, brochures, single page patterns, coupons and other items that would interest a doll maker.  This bag is treasured by those that receive it and it is an excellent way to advertise your business to our group.  Your contribution to our welcome bags would be greatly appreciated by all attending our event.

    Flyers or brochures offering color lists or leaflets with instructions for using your products are great items to include.  Sample products are also welcome.  If 100 items is a great deal to ask, you may choose to send smaller amounts, such as 20 doll patterns.  The donations will be sorted so that Welcome Bags of comparable values may be distributed to students.  Whatever you are able to contribute will be appreciated by all.

    All contributors and their contact information will also be listed in our printed program given to each attendee.  This will allow them to view your web site and examine your additional products when they return home from the conference.  Be sure to include a label with contact information on each item you send.

    We need more educational doll events like this one and truly need to support the efforts of those coordinating them.  Your contribution will make all attending the event quite grateful as this is a non-profit event and there is no budget to purchase welcome bag items.  The name of all contributors will be publicized to all attendees in addition to the items sent for the students.
